The Quebec Culture Capital Fund was created on November 7, 2011 by the Government of Québec and the Fonds de solidarité FTQ to provide innovative financing to Québec cultural organisations interested in exporting their projects and products.

The Quebec Culture Capital Fund has a $100 million budget to support the marketing and export of major Québec cultural products.

It proposes new and innovative financial instruments in the financing of Québec cultural organisations, which take the form of equity voting shares, preferred shares, and loans.

Andrée Grimard has been appointed Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Québec Culture Capital Fund on July 22, 2013.

Madam Grimard is recognized for her extensive experience in corporate and commercial law, and banking and insurance securities. Madam Grimard now acts as Director of companies. She serves since 2006 on the Council of the Quebec Drug Insurance  Pooling, and more particularly as Chair of the Governance Committee since 2009.

Madam Grimard is also Director and Vice-President of the Governance Committee of the Nazareth & Louis-Braille Institute since 2012, as well as member of the Project Review Committee since February 2013.
